Milton, PA Plant
In 1988, the Hoeganaes Milton facility was opened due to its close proximity to a great number of powder metal part producers in Western PA. Hoeganaes purchased the site from Branch Trucking and made modifications to accommodate premixing of metal powders.
The Milton plant is a highly engineered facility that is designed to provide customers with consistency in press ready premixes. It achieves this through highly sophisticated automation, high volume production and statistical process control.
This facility is world-renowned for its Ancorbond™ process, which provides its customers with uniform die fill, improved production rates, greater density control, more consistent weight distribution and increased dimensional stability. Milton's Ancorbond products are shipped to customers throughout the world.
