ARC Metals is located in the North Central region of Pennsylvania in the town of Ridgway, PA. Approximately 40% of all powder metallurgy manufacturing companies are located in this area of Pennsylvania, lending the designation of the region as the "Powder Metallurgy Capital of the World". ARC Metals was founded in 1987 with the initial goal to service the local PM parts producers. Today, ARC Metals is owned by the Hoeganaes Corporation, the world's largest iron powder producer and has grown to be a nationally recognized premix facility; providing quality products and services to the powder metallurgy industry.
